Meet the Author and Playwright
On Friday, April 19, “Letters to Sala” playwright Arlene Hutton will join Sala’s Gift author Ann Kirschner for a special talkback session with the audience after the show. Ticket holders are also invited to a reception before the play. Learn more about this special night sponsored by the Alumni Association, President’s Circle, and Wellspring Society.

In conjunction with the play, a traveling exhibition of letters, photographs, and documents from the Sala Garncarz Kirschner Collection will be displayed in Kreider Gallery in SPU’s McKinley Hall until April 30. The exhibit is open 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Saturday. Admission is free.
The exhibit is on loan from New York Public Library and the French Children of the Holocaust Foundation. Support has been provided by the Conference on Jewish Materials Claims Against Germany, the French Children of the Holocaust Foundation, The David Berg Foundation, and the Robert and Trudy Gottesman Philanthropic Fund. The exhibit is curated by Jill Vexler, Ph.D., and designed by Monk Design, New York.
