In a category by itself of politico-thriller, The Good Son was almost impossible to put down.
More accurately, since I was listening to it as an audiobook, I found it impossible to remove my earpiece. I’m not sure how to begin to tell you what I thought about it. This book is quite amazing. I found myself discovering new convoluted routes home from work just to extend the listening sessions. I’m fascinated by the 1st hand feel of all the details pertaining to life in the “Ummah”, and how it is compared and contrasted to life in the western world. How in the world did he research this material?
