I attended today’s WordCampEd at Macaulay, and decided that I was being a wuss.? After years and years of being in technology-oriented businesses, couldn’t I figure this Word Press thing out?
So I immediately started adding content to this site.? I still think that Word Press is only slightly better than DOS, but I’m going to make a renewed effort to figure out what I’m doing.? Besides, Joe Ugoretz and Lisa Brundage took pity on me, and actually, their pity was pretty motivating.? I don’t need your pity!
Best things today were the CUNY Academic Commons, which I will join immediately, and also the idea of giving all our students domains for their e-portfolios.? Much more important than email addresses, I agree.
PS I did not succeed in registering for the CUNY Academic Commons….guess I’m not as techno-savvy as I’d hoped!
